Parts Advisor– Automotive

Woodbridge Toyota is looking for a parts advisor.

Job Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers with the selection of parts, suggest companion requirements and relay specials to ensure customer is aware of the product line.
Provide price quotes and other related parts information via the telephone.
Determine availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order.
Prepare orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
Retrieve parts purchased from stock.
Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.
Issue credit for parts returned; ensure invoice number is on hand to verify purchase and pricing.
Assist the Parts Manager in ordering stocked parts.
Assist the back counter, when necessary.
Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to the dealership.
Coordinate orders for pick up from customers, satellite stores or vendors with the Parts Manager, parts department staff and/or the Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk.
Obtain recipient’s signature upon delivery and maintain a log of delivery times.
Unload truck each night and return all documents and undelivered parts to the Parts Department.
Maintain basic upkeep of the delivery truck; check oil with each fill-up; lubricate monthly and schedule safety inspections.
Assist in unloading morning stock of orders and organizing these parts.
Loading and organizing parts on delivery vehicle for daily deliveries.
Cleaning and maintaining shipping/receiving area.
Clean and maintain entire parts department.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
