Vehicle Service Associate The Power to Move You

Lexus of Vaughan is currently seeking a passionate individual to support the Service department with a variety of tasks including client reception, vehicle transfer, detailing and Service facility management. The ideal candidate will be energetic with a positive attitude and a natural commitment to high quality work. Lexus of Vaughan is Canada’s newest Lexus Dealership, offering a state-of-the-art facility benefitting our Guests and employees alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes clients visiting the Service department and inquires as to the purpose of their visit
  • Support vehicle logistics (moving/retrieving) for the Service department
  • Light duty vehicle detailing to provide an exceptional experience to all Service clients
  • Support facility standards with light-duty upkeep
  • Maintain the Service Drive-Thru in a clean manner
  • Participate in pick-up and drop-off duties for Service customers, as required.
  • Participate in deliveries as required.
  • Refers clients to the appropriate Service Advisor; notify appropriate team members of a client’s status/needs.
  • Communicates with visitors in a professional, friendly and effective manner.
  • Highly organized and attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on delivering the best client experience.
  • Great personality, very outgoing and enjoys assisting clients.
  • Follow all company and manufacture policies, directives and procedures.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a clean work area.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Previous dealership experience is considered an asset but not a requirement
  • Previous experience in the Hotel & Hospitality industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
  • Able to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
  • Ability to remain polite to customers, even in conflict situations.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Drivers Abstract in good standing.
