About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to administer, process, and authorize warranty claims to the manufacturer, and reconcile them accordingly.  Specifically:

  • prepare, process, record, and reconcile warranty claims as per manufacturer guidelines
  • maintain complete and accurate records for warranty claims
  • forward warranty claims for defective parts to the factory and distributors
  • arrange for parts to be shipped back to the factory or distributor
  • follow up on any outstanding warranty claims to keep receivables current
  • maintain schedules for factory warranty, extended warranty, and pre-delivery inspection; and ensure balances remain current
  • process ‘goodwill’ claims and maintain general ledger

 

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in warranty administration, including:

  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience in office administration; dealership experience preferred
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • a proven commitment to quality of work
