The Zanchin Automotive Group is currently looking for someone to join their Team! We are looking to hire a Controller in Training with a keen eye for detail and knowledge of accounting practices. The successful candidate will have experience in Accounting, the ability to multi-task while maintaining organization and experience regarding risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities

• Gather financial data and ledgers
• Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Manage periodical reporting
• Supports dealers/general managers in managing cash flows and following up on ongoing contracts for the procurement of goods and services
• Regularly analyzes financial reports and daily control of operations
• Oversee external and internal audits
• Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts
• Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues
• Process corporate office Payroll

Requirements

• 5 years working experience
• Must have a CPA Designation
• Previous experience with Public Accounting is considered an asset
• Previous experience working in a dealership environment is considered an asset
• Experience as a Corporate Accountant is considered an asset
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
• In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software
• An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Organizational and leadership skills
