Zanchin Automotive Group, a privately-owned network of 30+ successful dealerships that welcomes talent and enthusiasm, values people and contributions, and rewards performance and accomplishment, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic RECRUITER to join the Team.  With a focus on sourcing, identifying and interviewing talent/hires for the Company, this position will be responsible to coordinate recruitment related activities for the Company’s business units, and participate in the selection process by reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screen interviews and providing feedback to Hiring Managers.

Salary Range: $47,000 - $50,000

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, and as the champion of the recruitment process, the Recruiter will be responsible to:

• champion the candidate sourcing and recruitment process, including:
  • posting job advertisements
  • candidate resume screening
  • performing initial phone interviews to assess and qualify candidates
  • scheduling interviews with Hiring Managers
  • performing background checks and reference checks
• identify talent and engage with candidates using recruitment tools and methods
• build talent pools for proactive recruitment needs; maintain, develop and nurture a pipeline of passive candidates for future opportunities
• source candidates from various online channels, ie. social media and professional platforms like Indeed, Glassdoor, Kijiji, LinkedIn et cetera
• work with the Human Resources Generalist to manage the applicant tracking system (ATS); assist with ATS system integration and administration (ie. Talent Nest) and provide system support to Hiring Managers
• administer candidate assessments and background checks for fit with the Company
• participate in job fairs and in-house recruitment events

About you….

Ideal candidates will have a proven experience in recruitment, specifically:

• College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent
• one (1) year proven experience in a recruitment role; retail, automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• experience with strategically sourcing candidates using progressive methods
• sound understanding of recruitment process
• proficiency working with applicant tracking systems, ie. Talent Nest, and Microsoft Office software (ie. Excel, Word, Outlook)
• strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
• a desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
• a proven commitment to quality of work
