About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing a variety of activities in support of the service department.  Specifically:

  • greet and welcome customers upon arrival to the dealership
  • deliver and pick up parts from various locations
  • tag customer vehicles upon arrival to the dealership; apply seat and steering wheel covers
  • maintain parking lots; move parked vehicles to ensure ample parking is available for customers; rearrange vehicles as needed to maximize space and parking availability
  • ensure that the service drive-thru remains uncongested and vehicles are flowing through orderly and timely
  • wash vehicle exterior in preparation for customer delivery
  • maintain dealership facility, ie. removal of debris, snow, et cetera
  • pick up and drop off customer

 

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience with customer service, including:

  • 1 to 2 years experience as a general labourer, with the desire to develop a focused skill set in the automotive idustry
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • valid Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • a proven commitment to quality of work
