About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing a variety of activities in support of keeping the dealership facilities orderly.  Specifically:

  • Greet and welcome customers upon arrival to the dealership; direct customers to parking and dealership facility, and/or offer valet parking
  • Ensuring every guest enjoys a modern, luxury experience
  • Tag customer vehicles upon arrival to the dealership; apply seat and steering wheel covers
  • Maintain company parking lots; move parked vehicles to ensure ample parking is available for customers; rearrange vehicles as needed to maximize space and parking availability
  • Ensure that the service drive-thru remains uncongested and vehicles are flowing through orderly and timely
  • Wash vehicle exterior in preparation for customer delivery
  • Loaner fleet management
  • Preparing service loaner vehicles, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use
  • Managing all documentation and agreements related to loaner vehicles
  • Checking in service loaners upon return, performing walkarounds, and ensuring vehicles are in proper condition
  • Operational support
  • Assisting with service check-ins and ensuring work areas are clean, safe and organized
  • Supporting fellow team members in daily operations including but not limited to season tasks such as snow removal and salting/icing durrounding areas
  • Team contributions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive, team-oriented environment
  • Upholding Jaguar Land Rover's standard of excellence in all client interactions
  • Additional duties as required

 

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience with customer service, including:

  • 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a vehicle jockey
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • a proven commitment to quality of work
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • valid G ontario license with a clean driver's abstract
  • previous dealership, hospitality, or customer service experience is considered an asset
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
