About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to ensure that customers are provided with an extraordinary experience when they receive their vehicle, including:

  • develop long-lasting customer relationships
  • coordinating and preparing the vehicle for customer display
  • assisting the pre-owned management team with the organization and management of vehicle inventory
  • checking in new inventory
  • taking and uploading website images of inventory
  • photographing vehicles and ensuring photos and vehicle information are uploaded to the appropriate sales platforms (AV Capture, etc)
  • ensuring pre-owned inventory is clean, organized, and properly presented at all times, both inside and outside the showroom
  • performing basic vehicle cleaning and preparation when necessary
  • checking vehicles following test drives and ensuring they are returned to a clean and presentable condition
  • prepare and review all documentation to ensure appropriate paperwork is ready
  • fueling vehicles and driving as required for tasks
  • monitoring fuel levels and ensuring vehicles have sufficient fuel
  • monitoring vehicles battery levels and assisting with battery matanence as required
  • assisting with errands related to pre-owned inventory, including taking vehicles for fuel or other required services
  • assisting with the transportation and delivery of vehicles off-premises when required
  • spending a significant portion of the workday outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • assisting with snow removal from pre-owned inventory during the winter months
  • other administrative tasks as assigned
  • must be available to work some evenings and Saturday's

 

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in coordinating and delivering, including:

  • Must be available to work some evenings and Saturdays
  • 1 to 2 years of proven experience in customer service
  • previous eperience in the automotive industry is an asset
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • a proven commitment to quality of work
  • comfortable working outdoors throughout the year in varying weather conditions
  • a dependable team player, energetic and willing to take initiative
