We are seeking  an experienced, motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join out high-performing Service Department.

About the opportunity…

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our guests and the Service Department. You will be responsible for understanding guest needs, recommending appropriate maintenance and repairs, communicating throughout the service process, and ensuring a seamless experience from appointment through vehicle delivery.

Specifically:

  • sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
  • serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
  • explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
  • advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
  • schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
  • accurately prepare repair orders and invoices

 

About you….

The successful candidate will be someone who genuinely believes that the guest experience comes fist.

You are confident, personable, organized, and able to balance the needs of the guest, technicians and the dealership. You understand that a great service advisor does more than write a repair orders they build relationships, create trust and become a valued automotive partner for the guests.

  • 3+ years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
  • proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • ability to sell vehicle maintenance
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
  • a proven commitment to quality of work
