Service Administrator

Mercedes-Benz Etobicoke, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is currently looking for an energetic Service Administrator to join their team. We provide extensive training and knowledge to ensure you are equipped for success. As a steward of the Mercedes-Benz brand, candidates should possess a strong belief in guest satisfaction & quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
  • Make service appointments if service consultants / Reception is unavailable, route appointment information to the appropriate service consultant
  • Provide reporting to dealership management
  • Collect retail charges from the customer in cash, check or authorized charge account
  • Process and document charge purchases A/P according to the policies established by the Controller
  • Dealer purchase tracking / reconciling
  • File accounting copies of repair orders and parts tickets, file hard copies of repair orders in customer service files
  • Respond to customer needs and assist Service Advisor / Reception in communicating vehicle concern(s).
  • Answer the service telephones when the Service Advisors / Reception are busy; maintain a pleasant telephone manner and assist customers as required.
  • Support cashier function, when necessary.
  • Complete payroll (Payworks) / tracking daily and submit to management for approval
  • Manage vacation requests for colleagues and submit for approval
  • Order supplies as needed
  • WSIB injury reporting – working in collaboration with HR
  • Regular reconciling of pre-invoiced repair orders
  • Other Admin duties

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Administrator is considered an asset.
  • Previous Mercedes-Benz experience is considered an asset.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Able to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled.
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the service workday.
  • Possess strong communication and organization skills.
